Dhoom Again : by Sanjay Ghadvi

Dhoom 2 .... Expectations were sky high ... adrenalin pumping ... bikes , stunts , larger than life action was all I expected.

The Opening of Dhoom-2 is one of the best sequences in Indian Cinema ... first 20 minutes are spell-bounding .... ending with the Title Track!

With a Racy First Half , audiences are hungry for more but alas!!! Second Half of the movie just fades the movie into oblivion..

Hritik Roshan. .What can I say .. He just makes other set of actors look EXTRAS in the movie

His jiving on Dhoom -2 Title track will sweep the opposite sex off their feet!!
Aishwarya and Bipasha are used mere props , Abhishek and Uday are passsee....Soundtrack is non-hummbale to say the least

Action Sequences are eye-catching and take your breath away.... Sand Surfing , Roller Blading , Bike Swooning , Bunjee Jumping ...You name it it has it!!!
All in all , see it for Hritik and the Action...

RATING : 3.0/5.0

Da Vinci Code : by Ron Howard

Da Vinci Code... hmmm ...here is a fact on the book

* The Da Vinci Code is a mystery/detective novel by American author Dan Brown, published in 2003 by Doubleday Fiction. It is a worldwide bestseller with more than 60.5 million copies in print (as of May 2006) and has been translated into 44 languages. Combining the detective, thriller and conspiracy fiction genres, the book is part two of a trilogy that started with Brown's 2000 novel Angels and Demons, which introduced the character Robert Langdon. In November 2004, Random House published a "Special Illustrated Edition", with 160 illustrations interspersed with the text.

Da Vinci Code ..... hmmm... here is a fact on the movie

*Ron Howard ( a la' Beautiful Mind)has done an ok job in adapting a cult book to a 2 hour 29 min celluloid , but it fails to impress on the following accounts:

1)Pace of the book is lacking here..
2)More of a murder mystery than an eye-opener
3)Tom Hanks flowing noodle hair!!!
4)Background Score was appalling ( kindergarten stuff)

MY VERDICT : Ron Howard's has done his bit in framing The Da Vinci Code by sticking to author Dan Brown's controversial wild goose-chase thriller pretty religiously but lot is left to be desired!

RATING : 3.5/5.0
